Job Description:
The Operations and Sales Growth Manager is responsible for driving sales growth and improving profitability at Ameristar Meats, LLC. This role involves setting operational plans, collaborating with local and regional teams, and cultivating customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and execute operational plans for the plant within stated strategies and policies
- Provide input on strategies and policies that impact managed plants
- Drive the plant to achieve and surpass sales, profitability, cash flow, yield, specification metrics, business goals, and objectives
- Motivate a high-performance management team and steer the development of effective growth strategies
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 8 years of experience in a leadership role in sales, manufacturing, or production, preferably in a meat processing environment
- Strong knowledge of FSQA, P & L experience, sales, and leadership skills
Salary and Benefits:
The expected base rate for this role is between $125,000 - $215,000. This role will also receive annual incentive plan bonuses and long-term incentives. Benefits may include health insurance, pre-tax spending accounts, retirement benefits, paid time off, short-term and long-term disability, employee stock purchase plan, and life insurance.
