About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Plant Operations Manager to lead our manufacturing operations team at Ameristar Meats, LLC. As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will be responsible for driving business growth, improving operational efficiency, and maintaining high-quality products.
Main Responsibilities:
- Set up and execute operational plans to meet company goals and objectives
- Provide input to Stock Yards local teams and Region Vice President Stock Yards on strategies and policies that impact managed plants
- Responsible for driving plant(s) to achieve and surpass sales, profitability, cash flow, yield, specification metrics, business goals, and objectives
- Accountable for direction, management, and performance of plant operations
Key Qualifications:
- Minimum 8 years' experience in a leadership role in sales, manufacturing, or production, preferably in a meat processing environment
- High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree preferred (or equivalent experience)
- Strong knowledge of FSQA, P&L experience, sales, and leadership skills
