What are the responsibilities and job description for the Area Account Manager position at Ameristar Screen and Glass?
- The ideal candidate will possess an outgoing personality, exceptional customer service skills, and a genuine enjoyment of interacting with others. While this position involves direct sales to customers, it is not a traditional “hard close” sales role but rather focuses on cultivating business relationships and managing accounts.
- Upon hiring, the newly appointed Account Representative will undergo a comprehensive 4-6 week training program to equip them for success. While prior sales experience is advantageous, excellent communication skills and an outgoing personality are more crucial factors in this position.
- The majority of an Account Manager’s day will be spent in their designated territory, visiting apartment communities, establishing and maintaining new and enduring relationships with customers, engaging in interactions, formulating proposals, and processing orders.
- Each Account Representative will be assigned a specific territory and will be provided with existing accounts to manage.
