Job Summary
We are seeking a Hospitality Host to join our team at Ameristar Casino Resort Spa. As a key member of our dining experience team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests have an exceptional experience in our buffet and other dining areas.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a positive attitude and provide excellent guest service skills
- Adhere to established department and property policies and procedures regarding guest service standards
- Stock bus stations and ensure the buffet line is clean and sanitary
- Adequately stock supplies and maintain cleanliness in all areas
- Assist Food Servers and maintain established pars of linen, glass, and condiments
- Assist in Bar/Beverage set-up and maintain a positive attitude toward guests and co-workers
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
- Excellent guest service skills and ability to communicate effectively with guests
- TIPS training and basic math skills required
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
