The Enterprise Data Services role Developer Advisor (US) is responsible for the development, documentation, testing and ongoing support of ETL, data pipelines and data processes in order to support the delivery of data. They will help support data platform administration and collaborate with architects, QA, product owners, and other developers/admins to ensure solutions that are developed, align with IT standards and best practices, while also adhering to security and service level requirements.

Hiring Manager is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Developer/Administrator with a proven background in automation, orchestration, and the processing of data, which includes the full data lifecycle of data transformation, management, retention, security, performance tuning, and SLA management. This role will be responsible for administration and support of data platform tools and the design, development, implementation, and ongoing monitoring of data processes to support organizational data needs. The Developer Advisor (US) will collaborate and partner with data architects, product owners, data governance, technical teams, and other developers/admins to align with organizational standards and requirements surrounding platform administration, security, patching and data processing. They will be responsible for requirements gathering, process mapping, data processing requirements and managing/assessing data platform performance, while focusing on data security/compliance, collaboration, communication and continuous improvement of the data processing framework.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Orchestration, Automation and Pipeline technology solutions
• Data Platform Tools Support (administration, maintenance, patching, etc)
• Utilizing data fabrics and data virtualization platforms to optimize data delivery.
• Managing and monitoring processes and tools that support data delivery and automation.
• Develop, troubleshoot and optimize queries, views, and stored procedures to support data pipelines and automation.
• Troubleshoot and help performance tune query processing supporting data reporting and delivery.
• Collaborate within the data operations and governance teams to assess and troubleshoot potential data quality and discrepancy issues at key intake points within the data transformation layer.
• Documents data platform processes, programs, and solutions as per established standards for data governance.
• Integrates best practices within data pipeline processes to maximize object reuse.
• Experience sourcing and moving data between database systems (Oracle/MS SQL/Postgres/etc)
• Experience with data research, analysis, security, and data quality
• Ability to create / read / modify / enhance SQL code and packages across database technologies.
• Experience working within agile development teams and processes.
• Familiarity with data protection regulations and compliance requirements for sensitive data.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and solutioning skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate with product owners/managers, application teams, architects, database administrators, and other technical areas or development teams as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Requires an BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field of study and a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Report administrator, Developer, ETL tool administrator, or similar role in a data-centric environment.
• Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:
• 5 years of experience in administering, testing, and implementing enterprise data process automation and orchestration.
• Experience with Data processing platforms and technologies such as Microsoft SSIS, Informatica, ActiveBa
