Job Summary:
Working under the direction of a Group Marketing Manager, and in collaboration with cross-functional team members and regional partners, the Product Manager will support the Alaris platform growth strategy through execution of upstreaming marketing and development activities to drive innovation and expansion, especially on our software solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Function as a subject matter expert for core teams, downstream marketing, and regions serve as the commercial lead on software projects by executing QMS and GPDS (Global Product Development Process) deliverables and communicating customer and patient needs.
- Drive product enhancements, integrations and continuity for the on-market portfolio Help define the portfolio strategy and roadmap for the client Infusion platform.
- Identify, collate, quantify, prioritize and communicate unmet needs through the collection of voice of customer and other inputs.
- Build out global launch and commercialization plans to support downstream launch excellence.
- Conduct market research, as needed, to inform assessment of global market opportunities, product concepts, design iterations, and clinical and economic value propositions.
- Create evidence generation plans to support strong, differentiated, quantified messaging.
- Create and update financial models and market assessments to communicate project revenue. Utilize data analytics to formulate and adapt key commercial strategies.
- Create and conduct impactful presentations at core team, leadership meetings, townhalls, etc.
- Actively encourage and support a positive culture across teams Demonstrate leadership within the Marketing department to drive best practices.
Required Skills:
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum of five years marketing, product management or equivalent experience in the medical device sector or comparable field.
- Sales or sales support experience will be considered; upstream marketing experience is preferred.
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with advanced verbal, written and presentation/communications skills.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally (up to 25%) and flexibility to accommodate different time zones Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a matrix environment.
- Strong organizational skills and demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines in a high-paced environment of competing priorities.
- Ability to define problems, collect data in ambiguous environments, establish facts and draw valid conclusions and recommendations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience working with connected, integrated, clinical software solutions
- Strong understanding of the medical device development process and phases
- Understanding of and experience with Quality Management Systems
- Understanding of the IV infusion pump market, business dynamics, and relevant stakeholders.
