Job Description:
The Home Infusion Nurse will provide professional nursing care for the safety and well-being of Amerita's patients.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assessing patients and developing individualized plans of care
- Managing vascular access devices, including insertion of peripheral infusion devices or peripherally inserted catheters (if certified)
- Collaborating with pharmacy staff, physicians, and patients to develop and monitor treatment goals
- Educating patients and caregivers on medication administration and management
- Coodinating nursing care with home health and other community agencies as indicated
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A valid nursing license in the state(s) of practice
- Minimum one year of experience as a Registered Nurse
- Previous infusion and home health care experience preferred
- Current CPR certification
- Flexible schedule with availability to work a variety of shift models
