What are the responsibilities and job description for the Student Accounts Representative position at Ameritech College of Healthcare?
We are currently hiring for an organized and student service focused person to join our team as a Student Accounts Representative. The Student Accounts Representative provides daily operational support in the management of student account functions including billing and receivables, stipends and refunds, collections and liabilities, cashiering and deposit operations, and third-party accounts. This full-time position is located on our Draper, UT campus.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Assist and respond to students in a polite and timely manner
- Assist with daily deposit operations
- Secure payments from students and third-party agencies
- Monitor student credit balances to comply with DOE regulations
- Prepare student refunds and stipends
- Complete tuition reimbursement forms for students and third parties
- Post, adjust and audit student tuition, fee and book charges
- Compute exit and refund calculations
- Review and manage third-party receivables
- Discuss payment plans with current and former students
- Identify and recommend adjustments to billed charges, monthly payment streams, and other student account related activity
- Create and manage reports to review current and past due student accounts that identify at-risk accounts receivables and collection opportunities
- Determination which student accounts may results in decisive action leading to the collection and/or resolution of past due receivables
- Read and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations
- Attends and actively participates in school functions, including but not limited to receptions, marketing events, graduations, in-service training, advisory committees, etc.
- Other duties as assigned by the Bursar or Controller
Compensation details: 21-25 Hourly Wage
