As a Band Saw Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining horizontal band saw equipment to cut materials to specified sizes.

The ideal candidate will have experience with horizontal band saws and possess a strong understanding of safe and efficient cutting operations. As a Band Saw Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining horizontal band saw equipment to cut materials to specified sizes.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operate and set up horizontal band saws to cut metal materials to required dimensions.
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, or drawings to ensure proper cutting specifications.
- Measure and verify dimensions of finished pieces using measuring tape.
- Monitor machine performance and adjust as needed for quality and efficiency.
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.
- Previous experience operating a horizontal band saw or other industrial saws is preferred.
- The ability to read blueprints or technical drawings is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
- Must be able to read a tape measure down to the 16th.
- Basic mechanical aptitude for machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
