Our clients’ manufacturing facility has lab technician positions open and available for experienced, reliable, and self-motivated individuals. Currently hiring for both day and night shifts.
Responsibilities:
- Perform chemical, and physical tests on coating/paint materials.
- Document test results and organize data accurately, ensuring all findings are recorded and maintained in lab databases.
- Assist in troubleshooting equipment and performing basic maintenance on lab instruments as required.
- Comply with all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized lab environment
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures and accurately document results.
- Basic math skills and the ability to perform calculations related to test measurements.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Previous experience in a lab setting is a plus, though not required.
- Experience in an Industrial Coating / Paint Manufacturing Plant or Laboratory environment preferred.
- Color match and QC lab experience is preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate degree or coursework in chemistry, material science, or a related field is preferred.
