Project Manager

Job Description

We are currently looking for a Project Manager to oversee concrete paving projects in the South Houston area. The role involves managing project timelines, budgets, and quality while collaborating with clients, engineers, and subcontractors. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a solid understanding of construction plans and project management tools.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead initial planning by collaborating with clients, engineers, and other stakeholders.
• Schedule and coordinate projects, ensuring deadlines are met.
• Delegate tasks to team members to ensure project milestones are achieved.
• Conduct cost analysis and estimate project expenses.
• Prepare and implement a project budget based on estimates.
• Address questions, concerns, and complaints throughout the project.
• Oversee and direct project activities, ensuring smooth operations.
• Ensure compliance with all regulations, standards, and best practices.
• Build and maintain relationships with owners, managers, clients, and agencies like TXDOT.
• Perform additional tasks as needed to support project success.

• Excellent time management with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Thorough understanding of contracts, plans, specifications, and regulations.
• In-depth knowledge of engineering, architecture, and other construction drawings.
• Bilingual preferred but not required.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Construction Science, Architecture, Engineering, Project Management).
• At least 5 years of related experience.
• PMP, CAPM, and/or comparable certifications desirable.
