What are the responsibilities and job description for the NOT ENTRY LEVEL* Distribution CSR (Northlake) position at AmeriTemps?
The Distribution Customer Service Representative is responsible for managing customer inquiries, processing orders, coordinating shipments, and resolving distribution-related issues. This role ensures a smooth flow of products from warehouse to customer while providing excellent service and maintaining strong relationships with clients.
Location: Northlake, Tx
Pay Rate: $20
Shift: 8 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday (weekends as needed)
*** Responsibilities:
- Daily process and input of all customer orders and distribution account
- Generates ALL paperwork and necessary information required for customer work orders, checks all orders for special requests and post inventory records
- Provides daily data entry for receiving, ordering allocation, shipping and inventory management
- Coordinates special shipping requests with the Transportation and Operations Departments
- Trace orders and notify customers of any activity concerning their orders
- Ensure proper invoicing of accounts by verifying computer-generated invoices
- Maintain damage records and back order logs
- Handle returned merchandise and ensure proper credit is given to customer
- Inputs all receipts, putaways, moves, picks, shipments and cycle counts
- Provides warehouse staff with documentation and information needed to complete receiving and to ship orders
- Maintains excellent working relationships with customers by responding to ALL inquires/complaints concerning work orders, invoices, shipments, and inventory counts
- Reports ANY customer feedback/dissatisfaction to management
- provides support with miscellaneous projects, filing, and research
- Oversees ALL paperwork for orders and corresponding files
- Maintains a current/accurate procedures manual that details the processing requirements for each account
- Answers phone calls and have knowledge for scanners and printers to perform work responsibility
