Ameritex Machine and Fabrication is a high mix low volume sheet metal and structural fabrication facility that uses a variety of equipment such as CNC Fiber Lasers, CNC punch presses, CNC press brakes, and tube lasers to support over 19 production and assembly lines. The company serves customers in energy, oil and gas, automotive, electric vehicle, and aerospace. We operate out of a state of the art 100,000 sq ft facility in Conroe, Texas.
Responsibilities of the Quality Manager at Ameritex Include but are not limited to the following:

Responsibilities of the Quality Manager at Ameritex Include but are not limited to the following:
- Developing quality control policies and standards for the company to follow
- Identify potential risks before they become a problem, focusing on root cause analysis and preventive action
- Perform internal and external quality audits and compile detailed reports of findings
- Build a strong team through coaching, mentoring, specific training and performance evaluations
- Develops, implements, and manage processes to ensure that products meet required specifications for quality, function, and reliability prior to delivery.
- Identifies and sets appropriate quality standards and parameters for products.
- Communicates quality standards and parameters to the Quality team, manufacturing, and other appropriate staff.
- Coordinates product testing processes.
- Participates in product testing.
- Identifies and analyzes issues, defects, and other problems, particularly when problems recur in multiple products; recommends and facilitates solutions to these issues.
- Reviews customer feedback and Investigates customer complaints
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, local, and organizational laws, regulations, guidelines, and policies.
- Maintain third party certification (UL, ISO, etc.)
- Ensuring safety procedures and processes
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Quality Director.
- Assesses operational data and identifying quality problems
- Establishing strategies to improve efficiency and profitability in the organization
- BS degree (preferably in Quality or a STEM field)
- 5 years' relevant work experience as a Quality Supervisor
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
- Metal Fabrication experience
- Certified in Lean, Six Sigma, or RCCA methodologies
- Certified ISO 9001 Lead Auditor
