JOB OVERVIEW: Under general supervision, the Delivery Driver is responsible for delivering products to our customers in a timely and safe manner, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and adhering to company standards and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Safely and efficiently delivers products to customers within the assigned delivery area.
Verifies the accuracy of delivery orders before departure and upon delivery.
Provides excellent customer service by interacting with customers in a professional and courteous manner.
Handles customer inquiries and complaints with a positive attitude and resolve issues promptly.
Obtains customer signatures and ensure delivery confirmation.
Plans and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries. Uses GPS and other navigation tools to avoid traffic and find the best routes.
Performs regular vehicle inspections to ensure the delivery vehicle is in good working condition.
Reports any vehicle maintenance needs or issues to the supervisor immediately.
Keeps the delivery vehicle clean and presentable at all times.
Adheres to all traffic laws and company policies related to delivery operations.
Follows safety protocols and use personal protective equipment as required.
May conduct property inspections, as requested.
May complete courthouse recordings, as requested.
May provide additional assistance to escrow, title and title plant departments, as requested.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience:
No experience required.
Skills:
- Basic driving skills.
- Good customer service skills, positive attitude, able to comply with written or verbal instructions.
- Ability to read, write, and verbally communicate information relevant to job requirements.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple deliveries.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Proficient in MS Office Word, Excel, PPT, and Teams.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION:
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Valid insurance.
