Closer/Funder

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Closer/Funder to join our Lending team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the loan process, ensuring that all closing and funding activities are completed accurately and efficiently. This position requires a strong understanding of underwriting, loan origination, and mortgage servicing, as well as compliance with relevant regulations such as TRID and QM. The Closer/Funder will work closely with broker partners and other team members to facilitate smooth transactions for our clients.

Duties

• Create and Balance Closing Disclosures with Title Companies and/or attorneys
• Maintain accurate records of all funding activities and ensure timely disbursement of funds.
• Ensure adherence to FNMA guidelines throughout the funding process.
• Communicate effectively with clients, loan officers, and other stakeholders to provide updates on the status of loans.
• Stay informed about industry trends and changes in regulations that may impact funding processes.

Requirements

• Proven experience in mortgages preferred
• Familiarity with loan processing procedures and financial services industry standards.
• Knowledge of TILA, Fair Housing regulations, FHA, VA, USDA, and FNMA guidelines is essential.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in documentation.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $67,389.00 - $70,039.00 per year
