Job Overview

In this role, you will be responsible for engaging with the community to promote our initiatives, gathering signatures for candidates to be placed on the ballot, gather valuable feedback, and drive support for our causes. This position requires strong communication skills, a passion for customer service, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Duties
- Conduct door-to-door canvassing to inform the public about our programs and initiatives.
- Engage with community members to gather opinions and feedback on various topics.
- Effectively communicate key messages and respond to questions or concerns from the public.
- Utilize persuasive techniques to encourage participation in campaigns or events.
- Maintain accurate records of interactions and report findings to management.
- Collaborate with team members to strategize outreach efforts and improve effectiveness.
- Provide excellent customer service while representing our organization positively in the community.
Experience
- Previous experience in sales, telemarketing, or fundraising is preferred but not required.
- Bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply, as this skill will enhance communication with diverse communities.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and negotiate when necessary.
- Experience in supervising or leading teams is a plus.
- A background in electioneering or community organizing can be beneficial.
