Job Summary:
The Practice Manager will be responsible for managing the overall operations of the practice, including overseeing the team, practices financials, client service, patient care, and administrative functions. The successful candidate will lead the team to meet operational goals, maintain a high level of client satisfaction, and foster the team’s growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Staff Management: Oversee recruitment, training, and development of practice staff, including healthcare providers and administrative personnel.
- Operational Oversight: Manage day-to-day operations, ensuring efficient workflows and quality patient care. Monitor and improve internal processes for better efficiency.
- Financial Management: Ensure practice profitability by overseeing budgeting, financial reporting, and cost control.
- Client Service & Communication: Maintain a high standard of client service and ensure effective communication. Address client concerns and manage relationships.
- Compliance & Quality Control: Ensure that the practice complies with all regulatory agencies and state laws and maintains accurate records.
- Inventory & Supplies Management: Oversee the procurement and management of office and medical supplies, ensuring adequate inventory levels and adherence to safety standards.
- Marketing & Business Development: Assist with marketing initiatives to attract new patients and retain existing clients. Promote the practice within the community.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a leadership/management role.
- Experience in the animal health field appreciated.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to use critical thinking skills to solve problems and make decisions.
- Financial acumen, with experience in budgeting, payroll, and cost management.
- Knowledge of practice management software and office systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Full-time position, with some evening and weekend availability required.
