Position open: Veterinary Customer Service Representative Full Time



Coastal Veterinary is dedicated to providing a high level of veterinary medicine along with friendly, compassionate service. We believe in treating every patient as if they were our own while forming lasting relationships with their owners. Coastal Veterinary is seeking an additional experienced customer service representative to join our team. 


The ideal candidate has the following qualities:


Strong customer service background, greeting all clients with a smile, and pleasant personality. 


Strong phone skills while multitasking clients in person, in addition to client text, emails and phone calls at our front desk.


Ability to remain calm during emergency situations, and understand the importance of follow through of each client interaction from start to finish. 


Candidate must be able to phone triage patients to make appropriate appointments and handle the schedule maximizing openings while keeping the schedule full. 


Candidate must be able to provide accurate client education, and is ready to be a positive and supportive team player.


Candidate must be able to process payments, handle money and do so with a high level of accuracy. 


Ability to pick up 5 to 25 pounds of food to bring to the front desk is required.  


Candidate must be able to work a full day and be willing to fill in as needed at the front desk.

Requirements

·        3 years' experience in a customer service role

·        Having knowledge in the field of animal health care is a plus

·        Strong knowledge of computers and internet phone system is a must

·        Experience dealing with all types of clients and provide excellent customer service

·        Compassionate towards our patients, clients, and team

·        Comfortable with client education and greeting clients in a pleasant, helpful manner

·        Going the extra mile to develop relationships with our clients and make them repeat clients
