TLC Animal Hospital is actively hiring a Veterinary Assistant/FLOAT to add to our amazing team. Located in Palm Harbor, with top-rated schools in the area and just a mile from the beach. We are a well established small animal clinic open for more than 30 years, providing state-of-the-art in-house medical diagnostics, preventive health care, surgery, and radiology. What we can offer you
Not only do you enjoy working with dogs and cats but you are assisting the veterinarians in the practice with, in-patient and out-patient care, non-doctor examinations, laboratory duties, treatments, drug dosages and dispensing, surgery duties, dentistry, medical record notation and maintenance, light housekeeping duties throughout the facility, and maintaining a practical knowledge of the hospitals procedures, services and policies. The expected manner of every team member is to maintain a professional demeanor at all times, use appropriate medical terminology and support the practice, leadership and fellow team members at all times. You prioritize excellent client communication and are committed to delivering the best possible care to the animals at our practice.

Requirements
- 3 years of experience in Veterinary or animal-related fields
- Works well with others/Team player
- Able to multitask in a busy environment
- Are you able to lift 30 pounds or less by yourself, and are you able to lift more than 40 pounds with the assistance of others?
