What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Service Representative position at AmeriVet?
We're a dynamic and highly-rated veterinary practice specializing in house calls. We seek a talented, smart, detail-oriented individual to join our office team full-time as a veterinary assistant / receptionist / customer support representative. You will help us deliver top-notch veterinary care by directly supporting our clients by phone, email, and text, as well as occasionally assisting with animals at our veterinary house call appointments.
About the Position
First and foremost, this is a customer service position, and our clients appreciate that all our team members are caring and thoughtful in the help we provide. Strong customer service skills are essential, as well as the ability to multi-task and learn new technologies. Previous veterinary experience is ideal.
Besides front-line customer support, you will help out in other areas of our practice as well. These areas include helping research medical questions for our doctors, preparing and sending out medications to our patients, maintaining accurate medical records, and assisting our doctors at appointments.
Previous experience in a veterinary practice is preferred, and your compensation would correspond to your level of experience. However, if you are dedicated to animals and are energetic about learning and about client service, we will train the right candidate in the specific skills needed.
Schedule
The schedule is full-time, Monday through Friday, with occasional adjustments to the schedule based on the needs of the practice.
