Responsibilities:
- Assist senior mechanics in the maintenance, repair, and overhaul of heavy equipment such as bulldozers, excavators, and loaders.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues under the guidance of experienced mechanics.
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve equipment malfunctions.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance technical skills.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a technical school or vocational program specializing in heavy equipment mechanics or a related field.
- Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced mechanics.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.
