Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Be able to perform maintenance and repair Gunter Zimmerman 850 Paver, Gomaco 2600 Placer Spreader, RTP 500 Placer, Cure Tine Machine, Skid Steer/Forklift, and Generators
- Size paver, weld, perform general fabrications.
- Knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Must be willing to work night or day shifts as needed.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, kneeling, and working outdoors in various weather conditions
- General understanding of civil construction practices.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and following safety protocols.
- Ability to follow directions and collaborate effectively with team members.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Experience in heavy civil operations is preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check for SIDA airport badge clearance.
- Valid driver’s license is required.
Working Conditions
- Travel – This project is located in Charlotte NC. Subsequent projects will be nationally based.
- Schedule – Work assignment will be day or night
- Construction Site Environment – physical ability to stand, walk, crawl, bend, reach and climb. Lifting and carrying material and objects. Exposed to high noise levels.
