As a Custodial Technician at Ames Janitorial Services, you will be an essential part of our team dedicated to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across various facilities. This role is vital to our mission of delivering exceptional service and ensuring client satisfaction.
Pay 16 per hour
Hours Mon thru Fri 3pm to 11:30pm
Responsibilities
- Perform custodial duties including cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining assigned areas.
- Conduct floor care activities such as , mopping, and vacuuming to ensure high standards of cleanliness.
- Assist with porter duties as needed, including moving furniture and setting up for events.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or equipment needs.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures while performing cleaning tasks.
- Respond promptly to requests for additional cleaning or maintenance services.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures regarding cleanliness and safety.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment is essential.
- Good communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
- Basic knowledge of facilities maintenance practices is a plus.
