Summary
As a Senior Custodian at Ames Janitorial Services, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities. This role is vital to our commitment to providing exceptional service and ensuring a safe, clean environment for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including floors, restrooms, and common spaces.
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure cleanliness standards are met.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, reporting any needs to management.
- Respond promptly to requests for additional cleaning tasks.
- Utilize appropriate cleaning techniques for various surfaces and materials.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during all cleaning activities.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding any issues or concerns.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in custodial or janitorial services, preferably in a senior role.
- Strong knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques and equipment.
- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with cleaning duties.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good communication skills for effective teamwork and client interaction.
- Familiarity with safety protocols related to cleaning chemicals and equipment is preferred.
