Housekeeper

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in assigned areas, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and staff. This role is essential in upholding the standards of cleanliness and hygiene within our establishment, contributing to overall guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning tasks in guest rooms, hallways, and common areas to ensure a pristine environment.
• Dust, vacuum, and mop floors; clean windows and mirrors; and sanitize bathrooms.
• Change bed linens and towels, ensuring they are fresh and properly arranged.
• Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and cleaning materials as needed.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
• Follow established procedures for cleaning and sanitation to meet health standards.
• Assist with special cleaning projects as directed by housekeeping management.

Skills

• Proven experience in custodial or housekeeping roles, preferably within hotel or hospitality settings.
• Strong knowledge of floor care techniques and industrial cleaning practices.
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Good time management skills to efficiently complete tasks within designated timeframes.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
