Job Summary:
As an intern with Ametrine, you will have the opportunity to support various departments such as Engineering, R&D, Logistics, Warehouse, Safety, and Planning/Purchasing. This role requires logical reasoning, problem solving, and attention to detail in a rapidly changing environment.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Support the planning, execution, analysis, reporting, and filing for textile samples
- Develop and apply an understanding of departmental efforts and processes
- Manage department administrative needs including completing purchase requisitions, as well as copying and filing administrative reports and documents
- Assist with documenting department processes into written standard operating procedures
- Assist with field testing, as needed
- Assist with printing samples, as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Background and Experience
· Proficient in all Microsoft programs (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams and Publisher)
· Ability to effectively communicate with others; excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to interact professionally and effectively with all levels of management
· Organized with the ability to successfully multi-task and prioritize effectively
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy, excellence, and timeliness
· Mechanically inclined
· Flexibility and desire to work in a fast-paced and evolving organization
· Personable, friendly demeanor with a servant leadership approach to internal and external customers
Other Requirements
· Must be US Citizen, per US government contracts
· Work hours 9am – 5pm, Monday thru Friday, overtime as required
· Summer internship with possibility of extension based on performance and company needs
· Ability to lift 25 pounds
