The Position:

AMEWAS is seeking a highly motivated and talented Management Analyst (NISE Workforce Development Support)-Journeyman to support Advanced Aircraft Research, Development, Test & Evaluation. The salary range of this position is $68,000.00 - $95,000.00, and is commensurate with experience. This position is eligible for remote work as needed.

Position Background:

The Digital Analytics, Infrastructure, and Technology Advancement (DAiTA) Group is at the cutting edge of Advanced Aircraft Research, Development, Test, and Evaluation (AARDT&E). Our state-of-the-art laboratories are equipped to work seamlessly together, enabling comprehensive testing and evaluation of aircraft and weapons systems across the Department of Defense. What sets the DAiTA Group apart is our exceptional ability to mitigate program risks by crafting intricate battlespace environments where cutting-edge concepts, advanced hardware, and skilled warfighters can dive into the missions of both today and the future. The Integrated Battlespace Simulation and Test (IBST) Department is at the heart of this innovative ecosystem. This team is the driving force behind the research, development, management, design, documentation, fabrication, installation, integration, testing, evaluation, operation, and maintenance of the Air Combat Environment Test Facility (ACETEF) and other DAiTA AARDT&E capabilities, laboratories, and facilities. A typical day as a Management Analyst (NISE Workforce Development Support)-Journeyman may include:

• Inputs all NISE training into Waypoint (CISL College of NAVAIR U)
• Enters courses into Waypoints and tracks NAWC participants receiving NISE funding
• Coordinates registration and verifies class execution
• Coordinates with institutions providing NISE WFD Bootcamp instruction
• Assists with class execution and updates instruction materials and manuals
• Assists cohort instructor
• Manages registration and waitlist
• Manages STAIRS and Waypoints data for accurate information and maintains/updates metrics
• Advises/Provides instruction to employees related to STAIRS/Waypoints data entry, registration and/or administrative matters
• Monitors/tracks the SF-182 process to ensure completion/approval and works with BFMs as needed
• Assists instructors with scheduling, resource preparation and administrative tasks
• Performs other analyst duties as assigned

Must-haves:

• HS Diploma or equivalent
• 3 years of relevant work experience
• Experience with content management systems and databases used for updating/maintaining information
• Knowledge of technical writing or instructional design principles
• Understanding of in-person/virtual classroom logistics and execution
• Strong organizational skills
• The ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance

• BS/BA Degree

Physical Environment and Working Conditions:

The physical environment requires the employee to work in an office, sitting in a cubicle or at a desk, looking at a computer for most of the workday. Work is physically comfortable. The employee has discretion about sitting, walking, standing, etc.

The employee may be required to travel short distances to offices/conference rooms and buildings on site. In some occasions, the employee may be required to report to offices or buildings near the work site. Overnight travel will be required.
