Engineering Director Network Security Architecture and Engineering
American Express is looking for an experienced technology leader that is a specialist in network security controls. This role is pivotal in architecting and building network security controls and safeguarding our company's applications and services hosted in our data centers and public cloud. This position will be responsible for mentoring and coaching a highly skilled team of security architects and engineers.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain network security controls and FWaaS capabilities
- Partner with Enterprise Infrastructure and cloud engineering teams to build frictionless, highly scalable and distributed firewall platforms
- Develop capabilities to federate security policy deployment and enable automated policy governance
- Build capabilities to enable observability and operational tooling.
- Be a change agent and mentor and train colleagues in security automation and procedures.
Requirements and Skills
Salary Range : $170,000.00 to $255,000.00 annually bonus equity (if applicable) benefits
