The Global Advertising and Brand Management (GABM) organization has a mission to create marketplace demand and drive commerce for American Express through differentiated and innovative products, partnerships, marketing, and customer experiences. We have an ambitious goal : to be the most creative department in the Fortune 500 and we aim to deliver on that by doing work that is both creative and impactful.
The Strategic Planning & Investment team is core to leading GABMs strategic planning process and setting the vision for one of the worlds most valuable brands. We are looking for a dynamic individual to support the year-round integrated planning function through ongoing management of GABMs marketing budget. This Senior Analyst will coordinate closely with GABMs marketers and our finance partners, playing a critical role in GABMs ability to deploy, measure, and optimize global investments.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, has strong analytical and problem-solving, and has a great collaborative mindset.
How will you make an impact in this role?
- Manage monthly investment R&O process : manage forecasting, funding allocation, and day-to-day financial matters for the organization.
- Support GABM marketers through financial consultancy.
- Ensure processes and documents enable clear and transparent financial management and measurement.
- Support the development of executive reporting.
- Build relationships with all teams throughout the organization including key partners in Finance and Controllership.
