Key Responsibilities
Blueprint Interpretation and Fabrication:
Access and interpret digital blueprints on provided tablets.
Determine job requirements from blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
Measure, cut, shape, and weld steel components accurately using tools and equipment.
Fabrication Processes
Utilize machinery such as shears, saws, presses, and welding equipment for steel fabrication.
Assemble structural steel components according to digital specifications.
Ensure all fabricated components meet specified dimensions and tolerances.
Safety And Maintenance
Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on fabrication equipment as required.
Collaboration And Communication
Work collaboratively with the Fabrication Supervisor and team members.
Communicate effectively to resolve any fabrication issues.
Report progress and any challenges encountered during fabrication to the supervisor.
Offers of employment are contigent upon passing an HPE (Human Performance Exam) that tests the capability of likely physical requirements of the specific position.

Education and Experience:
Technical or trade school certification in welding or metal fabrication preferred.
Skills And Competencies
Minimum of 1 years of experience in steel fabrication.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting digital blueprints.
Skilled in MIG welding techniques.
Experience with metal cutting, shaping, and assembling tools and machinery.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials and work in various positions.
Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures.
