What are the responsibilities and job description for the Indirect Funding Specialist position at AmFirst?
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
- Review of documentation, flowing of installment contract data into the loan origination/core systems and funding of contract packages from dealer network within specific goal range for daily production. This is in adherence to America's First underwriting guidelines, policies and procedures.
- Works with dealerships to ensure contract packages are complete. Collect missing documentation and validate that all stipulations from lender have been satisfied.
- Provide support to Indirect lender and dealer network to aid in promotion of Credit Union's financial services.
- Performs other job related duties required or assigned.
Performance Measurements:
1. Review and complete new contract packages with no unresolved errors according to established department standards.
2. Develop, maintain, and demonstrate a working knowledge of credit union standards, policies, procedures, and applicable state and federal government rules and regulations.
3. Meet or exceed operational objectives with respect to accuracy, response times, contracting funding times and loan growth through the Indirect lending program.
4. Provide friendly, professional, personal service to all members and employees.
Knowledge and Skills:
Experience: One year to three years of similar or related experience.
Education: A high school education or GED.
Interpersonal Skills: Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for the purpose of first-level conflict resolution, building relationships, and soliciting cooperation. Discussions involve a higher degree of confidentiality and discretion, requiring diplomacy and tact in communication.
Other Skills: Must have experience reviewing business entity documents.
Must have strong critical thinking and problem solving skills to meet member needs.
Must be able to navigate multiple computer systems, applications and utilize search tools to find information needs.
Physical Requirements: Light lifting required.
