The Role: Facilities Technician
As a Facilities Technician, you will play a vital role in keeping our facilities safe, functional, and welcoming for both clients and staff. You’ll work closely with the Facilities Supervisor to handle a variety of maintenance tasks, from carpentry and plumbing to safety inspections and equipment upkeep. Every day brings something different — and your work directly impacts the healing environment we provide.
What You’ll Do
Perform preventative maintenance and repairs across multiple facilities
Support installations and refurbishments (telecom, HVAC, electrical, etc.)
Monitor and maintain equipment to meet health & safety standards
Assist with workstation setup and upkeep of IT infrastructure
Conduct regular property tours to assess and respond to facility needs
Maintain documentation of all work performed
Ensure compliance with local fire codes, NFPA, and Joint Commission standards
Provide onboarding training to new employees regarding facilities use and safety protocols
What We’re Looking For
Education minimum of a high school diploma or GED
Valid driver’s license with ability to be insured by our auto insurance policy which includes, but not limited to, the following requirements: 4 continuous years of driving experience, 21 years of age or older, less than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years, and no more than 1 major violation in the last 3 years.
CPR/First Aid Certification
Physical ability to lift 50 lbs, work in various conditions, and use ladders/scaffolding
Hands-on experience with general facility repair work (plumbing, carpentry, flooring, basic construction)
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
Willingness to learn and grow with an expanding organization
