Minimum Requirements
- Education: High School Diploma or GED, Bachelor's preferred.
- Background Check: Must pass ADP Selective Screening Services and any additional required background checks
- Valid Driver’s License: Must meet car insurance eligibility requirements (Minimum of 21 years old, at least 4 years of licensed experience, no driving infractions within last 4 years)
- Physical Requirements: Ability to work on a computer, walk/stand for long periods, lift up to 20 lbs., and navigate stairs
- Strong communication skills with families, clients, and staff
- Ability to remain professional, empathetic, and patient under pressure
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and Google Suite
- Knowledge of clinical and medical terminology (preferred but not required)
Responsibilities
As a Mental Health Technician (Community Coordinator), you’ll be a vital part of the treatment process, ensuring that clients receive the care, guidance, and support they need. Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Providing Direct Support – Assist clients with daily activities, ensuring a structured and supportive environment
- Transportation & Safety – Safely transport clients to scheduled activities and medical appointments
- Behavioral Observation – Monitor client behavior, document observations, and collaborate with clinical teams
- Medication Support – Work with the nursing team to oversee medication self-administration
- Environment Maintenance – Maintain cleanliness and organization within residential facilities
- Facilitating Group Activities – Lead and document recovery-focused group sessions
- Emergency Response – Adhere to safety protocols, conduct safety drills, and respond to crises as needed
