Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with financial record-keeping, preparing reports, and supporting the overall accounting functions of the company. This role provides an excellent opportunity for career growth in accounting and finance.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
- Accounting tasks, including AP, AR, PR and bank reconciliations
- Journal entry and maintaining financial records; financial statements and reports
- Month end, Year end closing procedures
- General ledger, payroll, audits, tax preparation
- Basic Accounting principles
- 0-2 years of experience
- Experience in job cost accounting and project-based work on environment, knowledge of SOX compliance and audit preparation, familiarity with tax preparation and reporting
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Accounting software
- Excellent familiarity with Excel
- Experience with ERP systems is preferred
- CPA or CPA candidate is a plus
