Job Summary
We are seeking a PRN Wound Care Nurse, RN, to join our dynamic team for all shifts. The successful candidate will evaluate new and existing inpatient wounds, monitor and treat them according to treatment policies and procedures. This role involves providing direct and indirect patient care in the long-term acute care setting, communicating with physicians, coworkers, and other stakeholders as needed.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate new and existing inpatient wounds and develop treatment plans accordingly.
- Monitor and treat wounds according to established policies and procedures.
- Provide direct and indirect patient care in the long-term acute care setting.
- Communicate effectively with physicians, coworkers, and other stakeholders.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current Louisiana Registered Nurse (RN) Licensure.
- Current certification in wound care.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Able to communicate effectively and positively in English, both verbally and in writing.
