The Translational Safety and Bioanalytical Sciences (TS&BA) organization is seeking to fill a Principal Scientist position in our LC-MS / MS Bioanalytical Sciences group at the Amgen Thousand Oaks site in California. In this role, you will implement robust LC-MS / MS bioanalytical methods to support a broad range of therapeutic agents, including small molecules, oligonucleotides, proteins, and other complex molecular entities. Given the scope of projects, the role will involve multidisciplinary interactions with scientists across research and development at Amgen. The position is lab based, and has significant emphasis on data management / fidelity, report generation, project-based leadership, and communication across multiple teams.Key Responsibilities : Ensure bioanalytical data meets regulatory expectations for global submissions by maintaining accurate records and staying current with industry guidelines.Develop and implement LC-MS / MS bioanalytical methods with quick turnaround times.Conduct small and large molecule bioanalysis in non-clinical and clinical samples from various matrices (plasma, urine, CSF, tissues).Perform biological sample extraction using SPE, protein crash, and / or affinity capture methodologies.Author study reports, standard operating procedures, analytical methods, memos, and other regulatory-compliant documents.Communicate bioanalytical data to key discovery and development teams, contribute to scientific publications, and present at professional meetings.What we expect of you We are all different, yet we all use our unique contributions to serve patients.
