Senior Manufacturing Systems Engineer
What you will do
As a senior member of the Manufacturing & Clinical Supply – Facilities & Engineering (MCS-F&E) Automation team, you will ensure successful Drug Substance manufacturing and innovation in the Pilot Plant Network. You will be trusted to exhibit solid performance in a range of professional and technical skills that ensure flawless execution of production and drive next generation technology development in the biopharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
Primary Responsibilities :
- Day-to-day operational support including : rotational 24x7 on-call support
- Develop and maintain process control automation solutions using DeltaV Distributed Control System (DCS)
- Lead technical root cause analysis, incident investigations, and troubleshooting on process control issues related to plant operations
- Investigate and implement new manufacturing or process automation technologies
- Identify and implement continuous improvement projects that align with Amgen initiatives around Safety, Reliability, Efficiency and Environmental sustainability
- Maintain automation system health and resiliency via cybersecurity, data integrity, and preventative maintenance in alignment with the latest Amgen and industry standards
- Refine or create business processes and procedures including departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
