Job Summary:
The Sales Manager at Premier Toyota of Amherst is responsible for managing the sales team and achieving sales targets at our Amherst location. This individual contributor role requires a motivated and results-driven individual with excellent leadership skills, a strong understanding of the auto industry, and a passion for providing exceptional customer service. The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, training and coaching the sales team, and building strong relationships with clients to drive sales and revenue growth.
Compensation & Benefits:
This is a full-time, base plus commission sales job in the auto industry. The compensation for this role ranges from $130,000 to $190,000 per year, based on performance. In addition to the competitive salary, the Sales Manager will also receive a benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and retirement savings options.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies and plans to achieve sales targets and revenue growth
- Manage and motivate the sales team to ensure they meet sales goals and provide exceptional customer service
- Monitor sales performance and provide coaching and training to improve team performance
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to drive repeat business and referrals
- Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of the auto industry, including market trends, competitors, and product offerings
- Work closely with the finance and service departments to provide a seamless sales experience for customers
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create and execute promotional campaigns and events
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential sales opportunities
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Attend sales meetings and training sessions to stay up-to-date with industry trends and techniques
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, preferably in the auto industry
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent customer service skills with a customer-focused mindset
- In-depth knowledge of the auto industry, including market trends, competitors, and product offerings
- Proficient in using sales management software and CRM systems
- Ability to work flexible hours and weekends as required
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
