The Interlibrary Loan Supervisor coordinates a user-centered resource-sharing service, ensuring equitable access to academic material for students, faculty, and staff. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain expertise in complex research environments, following developments in databases and online resources.
- Establish and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with partner libraries from across the country and internationally.
- Supervise and train a team of student assistants, providing ongoing support and guidance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or 5 years of experience in lieu of degree.
- 1 year of work experience in an academic or research library.
- Experience searching online bibliographic databases and a strong interest in continual learning.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1 year of work experience in resource sharing or interlibrary loan.
- 1 year of work experience supervising others and providing training.
