The Leasing Specialist plays a crucial role in our leasing operations, focusing on application processing, prospect management, and maintaining excellent communication with potential residents. This full-time position requires strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and manage rental applications through our resident management system, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all required documentation
- Screen applicants by verifying rental history, income, and other qualifying criteria
- Maintain professional and responsive communication with prospective residents across multiple channels including phone, SMS, email, live chat, and CRM system
- Manage prospect inquiries and follow-up communications using established workflows
- Maintain detailed records of all applicant interactions and documentation
- Generate and analyze weekly reports to track application status and prospect pipeline
- Assist in preparing lease agreements and related documentation
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth application-to-move-in transitions
- Support marketing efforts by maintaining accurate property listings on various platforms
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of experience in leasing administration or related field
- Previous call center experience strongly preferred
- Full professional fluency in English (written and verbal)
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Experience with CRM systems and property management software
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
- Professional communication skills and customer service orientation
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Salesforce
- Background in property management or real estate
- Previous experience in a multinational company
- Knowledge of leasing compliance and documentation requirements
Technical Requirements
- Proficiency in using multiple software applications simultaneously
