Renovations Specialist
The Renovation Specialist supports Main Street Renewal’s Renovation Management team. Acting in a support and coordination role, the Renovation Coordinator aids in the timeline and cost management for all turnover properties. This position will report to the Renovation Supervisor. This will be 20% calls, 70% email and chat.
Main Responsibilities:
- Create and assign Turnover and Special Damage Inspections
- Manage timelines by following up with Superintendents on late inspections
- Review and approve estimates according to MSR repair scope and pricing
- Identify trends in estimates and work to share best practices and better processes
- Work closely with Construction Superintendents on estimate revisions
- Create and assign contracts for approved renovation scopes of work for vendors
- Manage work in progress timeline by obtaining projected certification dates
- Input budget revisions and obtain approvals when additional funds are required
- Support branch renovation superintendents by completing daily requests

Construction billing review and approval
Requirements: - High School Graduate.
- Student in finance, Real Estate, Accounting, or a similar field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
- Ability to perform repetitive work diligently.
- Strong ability to deal with ambiguity and proactively manage management’s expectations.
- Detail-oriented.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Preferred: Experience with Yardi or experience in property management.
