SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBLITIES:
- Skills required include conducting Psycho-Educational evaluations for students enrolled in grades 5-8. Must have experience
administering, scoring, and providing written and oral feedback related to completed evaluations. Knowledge and experience
administering assessments in the domains of IQ, Academic Achievement, Adaptive Functioning, Executive Functioning, and Social - - Emotional Functioning is a requirement. Additionally, responsibilities include consultation to staff working in special education,
general education, and alternative programming within the Amherst Middle School. Potential to provide individual and group
counseling to students based on training and experience.
REQUIREMENTS:
1. Certified by New Hampshire Department of Education as a School Psychologist (0046) or New Hampshire Licensed Psychologist.
2. 3-5 years of successful experience completing Psycho-Educational Evaluations.
3. Knowledge of Special Education Laws.
4. Demonstrated commitment to, “Engage, Support and Challenge All Learners.”
