What are the responsibilities and job description for the MAINTENANCE SPECIALIST, PLUMBER position at Amherst-Pelham Regional Public Schools?
The Amherst-Pelham Regional School District is currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN, HVAC. This is a full-time, full year permanent position, working 40 hours per week between the hours of 7am to 3 : 30pm. This is a grade E position within the AFSCME bargaining unit with an annual pay range of $53,787 to $57,712.
Responsibilities :
- Repairs, services, and maintains potable and non-potable plumbing systems, sewage systems, and HVAC piping systems, including steam, chilled water and hot water. Also works on plumbing for commercial kitchens.
- Repairs or replaces sanitary systems, water distributions systems, and drainage systems (roofs and surface drains).
- Repairs, services and maintains pool equipment, solar heating equipment, pipe insulation, etc.
- Makes and replaces seals, gaskets, etc.
- Maintains a reasonable replacement supply of parts, fittings, pipes, accessories, etc.
- Works with and supports other trades involved in building maintenance and upkeep.
- Coordinates inspections and maintain records of inspection reports.
Requirements also include :
Qualifications :
A valid license for plumber, or steamfitter. Knowledgeable in the repair and preventative maintenance of fluid handling equipment, including potable and non-potable water and sewer systems.
