What are the responsibilities and job description for the Middle School Paraeducator position at Amherst Pelham Regional School District?
The Amherst Regional Public School District is seeking a full time Paraeducator to provide individualized or small group support to students at the Amherst Regional Middle School
Beyond providing direct support when needed, this position includes supporting student use of assistive technology (e.g., laptop, adaptive mouse, etc.), implementation of academic lessons to the student(s) under the direction of a special education teacher and service providers, and monitoring for health issues and calling for medical assistance if/when needed. It may also include attending related service (OT, PT, SLH, etc) therapy sessions to facilitate carryover of skills from one setting to another.
Qualified applicants should possess and/or have experience with the following:
