ANTICIPATED LONG-TERM SUBSTITUTE PART-TIME TEACHING ASSISTANT
LOCATION: Smallwood Drive School
HOURS: 16.5 Hours/Week
START DATE: March 24, 2025 through June 25, 2025 (tentative dates)
SALARY: $18.50/hour, plus payment for additional credit hours, if applicable
DESCRIPTION:
This Teaching Assistant position is in a First grade classroom. The Teaching Assistant will assist with routine classroom functions, assume teacher responsibilities, conduct classroom activities and assist with required paperwork in classrooms.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- TEACHING ASSISTANTS MUST HAVE TEACHING ASSISTANT CERTIFICATION OR NYS TEACHER CERTIFICATION OR WORKING TOWARDS EITHER OF THESE CERTIFICATIONS.
- Experience working with elementary students preferred (K-5)
