FOOD SERVICE HELPER (10 -MONTH)
SALARY: $16 per hour
HOURS: 8:30am - 2:00pm (27.5 hrs/week) -School Days Only
LOCATION: AMHERST HIGH SCHOOL
START DATE: March 5, 2025
DUTIES and QUALIFICATIONS:
- Serving students and staff during meal service
- Minor Food Prep
- Back up Cashier
- Learn Bank deposit procedures
- Must be able to lift 40 pounds
- Must be able to stand and walk for the duration of the shift
- Must be able to understand, read and write the English language
- Must be a team player.
- Experience is helpful, but not necessary
- Must be fingerprinted through the NYS Department of Education (required for new employees) - fingerprint procedure - attached
- Experience working with elementary students preferred
**Uniform Allowance, Fingerprinting reimbursed after 1 year of employment, paid sick, personal and snow days.**
