LABORER SUBSTITUTE
SALARY: $15.00/hour.
HOURS: VARIES
DESCRIPTION / QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be fingerprinted through the NYS Department of Education (required for new employees) - fingerprint procedure
- Ability to communicate effectively/cooperatively with others/Team player
- Punctual/good work ethic
Typical work activities:
- Cleans and services buildings by sweeping, mopping offices, classrooms, bathrooms, etc.
- Waxes and buffs floors
- Performs minor maintenance on building fixtures and equipment
- Picks up and disposes of trash
- Assists with outside work such as sweeping, shoveling snow, etc.
- Loads and unloads trucks
- Ability to left medium weights. Ability to perform routine maintenance and mechanical work
