Our core values—adaptability, accountability, integrity, compassion, and collaboration—are the foundation of our work. Our mission is to deliver high-quality medical and public health services worldwide while offering flexible, adaptable, and scalable healthcare solutions to the communities and clients who need them most.

Job Summary:

AMI is excited to offer a unique opportunity for a Healthcare Recruiter to join our growing team. In this role, you will help drive the success of our U.S.-based projects by identifying, recruiting, and placing healthcare professionals across a variety of clinical and non-clinical roles. This is a high-volume, fast-paced role that involves managing the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing to placement, and supporting a diverse set of healthcare initiatives across multiple locations.

The successful candidate must be willing to travel to various project sites, engage with candidates at recruitment events, and be adaptable to shifting project timelines. If you thrive in a dynamic environment and are passionate about recruiting top healthcare talent, we want you to join our mission-driven team!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the recruitment process from start to finish, including creating and posting job descriptions, reviewing resumes, conducting interviews, and extending job offers.
  • Ensure that each recruitment phase is executed in a timely manner, meeting both organizational and project deadlines.
  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies to attract qualified healthcare professionals for both clinical and non-clinical positions across a range of specialties.
  • Utilize job boards, social media, recruitment agencies, and networking events to identify potential candidates.
  • Build strong relationships with candidates through transparent communication, providing a positive experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Maintain a pipeline of candidates for current and future needs.

  • Stay informed about and ensure compliance with industry and Federal regulations (FAR, DFARS, EEO, etc.), hiring laws, and best practices.
  • Maintain understanding of healthcare-specific certifications, licensing, and credentialing requirements to ensure that all recruited professionals meet industry standards.
  • Attend and represent AMI at job fairs, career events, and recruitment drives. Travel as needed to various locations to scout talent and engage with potential candidates.
  • Track key recruitment metrics, maintain accurate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS), and provide regular updates and reports on recruitment efforts to HR leadership.

Education/Experience:

  • A bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, nursing, psychology, or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • At least five (5) years of full-cycle healthcare recruitment experience, ideally within a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Experience recruiting for clinical, medical, or administrative healthcare roles is essential.
  • Familiarity with healthcare roles, responsibilities, certifications, and licensing requirements.
  • Experience working on federal contracts to include IDIQ process, task order responses and e-Qip requirements, etc. is a plus.

Skills/Abilities:

  • Proven ability to create and execute effective sourcing strategies across multiple channels (job boards, social media, LinkedIn, etc.), as well as to network and build relationships within the healthcare community.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to engage, negotiate, and close offers with candidates.
  • Ability to stay organized and to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or non-traditional hours is essential, depending on project timelines and recruitment needs.
  • Ability to work effectively across teams and departments, interacting with both clinical and non-clinical staff to ensure recruitment goals are aligned with business objectives.
  • Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), recruitment software, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). Experience with other HR tools (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter) is a plus.
  • Proficiency in a foreign language is a plus.
