Job Summary:
The Medical Logistician will manage and coordinate the efficient flow of medical supplies, equipment, and resources. This will be vital in ensuring healthcare operations run smoothly and effectively, supporting the delivery of quality patient care.
Duties/Responsibilities:

Plan, coordinate, and oversee the procurement, storage, and distribution of medical supplies and equipment.

Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure appropriate stock levels to meet operational needs.

Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies for medical logistics and supply chain management.

Collaborate with healthcare staff to forecast demand and address supply chain challenges proactively.

Develop and implement strategies to optimize logistics processes and reduce waste.

Monitor the maintenance and calibration of medical equipment to ensure functionality and safety.

Prepare reports and documentation related to inventory management, logistics performance, and procurement activities.

Respond to emergency requests for medical supplies during crisis situations.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Proficiency in technology including Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Office.
Education & Experience:

Certifications or training in logistics, supply chain management, healthcare administration, or a related field highly preferred (or equivalent experience).

Minimum of 2 years of experience in?logistics environments (medical logistics preferred)

Specialized experience including general supply activities, ordering, receiving, inventory management, forecasting, and warehousing preferred
