What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Operator 2nd Shift position at AMI INDUSTRIES,INC?
AMI Industries in Cass City is looking for highly motivated individuals to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. We have immediate openings for entry-level SECOND shift Production Operator positions. Candidates will be required to operate mechanical and manual assemblies. Must be able to stand for long periods of time, meet daily production rates and be dependable with attendance. Positions available for full time 2nd shift. No experience necessary.
Benefit package is offered to full time employees after completion of 90-day introductory period which includes medical, dental, vision, life, disability insurance and 401k. Along with paid holidays, paid vacations and paid sick days. Wage will increase to $15.00 per hour after 90 Probationary period ends.
Job Duties include but not limited to:
- Clock in/out at defined times.
- Follow all safety guidelines.
- Follow Supervisor instructions.
- Follow all Operator instructions.
- Follow all inspection methods (visual/gage) that are required.
- Correctly fill out all necessary paperwork and tags. Operator instructions and alerts must be signed.
- 100% Visually inspect for quality issues or concerns and report to supervisor. Stop running production if defective parts are found and immediately notify supervisor.
- Must carry out duties per ISO/TS 16949 and ISO9001/ISO14001 requirements.
- Follow any or all other duties as assigned.
Job Requirement
- Maneuvers in, around, under and about factory and/or laboratory equipment on a regular and continuous basis.
- Ability to lift up to (but not limited to) 20 pounds
- Regular and predictable attendance.
- Must be able to stand on feet for a minimum of 8 hours.
- Must be able to reach forward, lift, stoop and bend.
